Itzuna Terms and Conditions of Use
Version: 1.1 · Last updated: 18 October 2026
These Terms govern access to and use of Itzuna, including its app, its website and related services. They are available at itzuna.com/terminos/.
A person who, meeting the conditions in section 06.3, creates their own account, converts their guest access into their own account or starts creating a group without an account accepts these Terms through the procedure shown in the app. If a valid acceptance already exists for the applicable version, it does not need to be repeated for each group or invitation.
Taking part in a group through an invitation does not, by that fact alone, require entering into a separate contract with Itzuna. Participants receive the privacy information and, where applicable, the group rules. Participation by minors is governed by section 06.4.
06.1 — Purpose and scope
Itzuna makes it easier to organise and collaboratively manage tasks, activities and responsibilities among people in the same group. It lets you organise groups, assign tasks, record their completion, use points and streaks and set up rewards.
It is especially designed for families and people who live together. Other groups may use it where their use is compatible with the purpose and features of the service.
The app may let you work with groups stored on the device or use cloud features. Shared access, sync and other features require the corresponding services and connection. Available features may vary depending on the platform and mode used.
Any additional conditions for a feature or service will be shown before it is used or purchased. During a beta phase, section 06.16 also applies.
06.2 — Provider of Itzuna
The service is provided by:
Provider: Raúl Victoria Martín
Tax ID (NIF): 50203238B
Address: Paseo de la Florida 24, 28008 Madrid (Madrid), Spain
Email for support, privacy and incidents: privacidad@itzuna.com
Website: itzuna.com
In these Terms, “Itzuna” also refers to the provider of the service. If the entity providing it changes, this information will be updated and the change will be communicated where legally required.
06.3 — Registration, accounts and invitations
To create your own account with an email address or another identity provider, convert guest access into your own account or create a group, you must be at least 14 years old and accept these Terms where applicable.
People aged 14 to 17 may create and manage their own groups for the ordinary organisation and collaboration use that Itzuna offers. If a specific act requires the assistance or authorisation of a legal representative, they must obtain it. Mandatory age and capacity rules that apply will be respected in all cases; this condition does not grant capacity to purchase any service or take on any obligation.
Acceptance is also requested when activating for use an account created through an external provider or previously enabled for a beta. The technical creation of an account does not, on its own, prove that its holder has accepted.
Before accepting, the Terms can be viewed and saved. A confirmation of acceptance and access to the corresponding version will be provided. The Privacy Policy is provided separately: accepting these Terms does not amount to consenting to all processing of personal data.
Users must provide truthful information and keep the data needed for the service up to date. They are responsible for safeguarding their credentials and reporting any unauthorised access or circumstance that may compromise their account.
Invitations give access to a specific member profile within a group. They do not give access to other profiles or groups. Invitation links and codes must be treated as credentials: whoever receives them can use them to access the corresponding profile.
Invitations are valid for 14 days unless revoked earlier. Once accepted, they can no longer be used to grant new access. The expiry of the link does not remove anyone who has already validly joined the group.
Losing a session, having access revoked or changing device may make it necessary to recover the account or request a new invitation. If you take part without your own identified account, recovery may depend on a new invitation from whoever manages the group.
Itzuna may use authentication, recovery and revocation mechanisms to protect accounts. Revoking access to the group does not remove copies already downloaded, nor does it guarantee the immediate invalidation of temporary file links issued earlier; the Privacy Policy explains how long they last.
06.4 — Minors
Minors may take part in Itzuna according to their age, capacity and type of access. Not every group is required to be created or managed by an adult. Those who meet the conditions in section 06.3 may have their own account and create and manage groups.
Children under 14 may take part by invitation under the terms of this section; that participation cannot be used to get around the minimum age for creating one’s own account or a group. Joining by invitation does not, by that fact alone, mean entering into a separate contract with Itzuna, nor does it allow the purchase of paid services.
Anyone who adds a minor’s information or grants them access must act within their powers, be entitled to do so and respect the minor’s rights. Managing a group does not make a person the minor’s legal representative. Where an act or processing requires the authorisation or involvement of whoever holds parental authority, guardianship or the corresponding representation, it must be obtained before carrying it out. Receiving an invitation does not, on its own, prove that authorisation.
People who set up tasks, rewards or rules must do so in a way that is appropriate to the participants’ age and respectful of their rights. Legal representatives will carry out the assistance and protection functions that the law assigns to them. Itzuna does not determine family obligations, nor does it physically check that tasks have been done.
Data processing is explained in the Privacy Policy. Not all processing is based on consent: where a specific processing requires it, the legal rules on age and representation will apply and consent will be obtained specifically. Accepting these Terms, creating a group or joining one does not replace that consent.
Itzuna may take proportionate measures to protect minors where necessary and will deal with any incidents reported, without prejudice to its own legal obligations.
06.5 — Groups, owners, administrators and members
Creation and administration
Anyone who creates or manages a group must act within their powers, respect the rights of its members and be entitled to add and share the information they provide about them. Managing a group does not grant legal representation over its members. Where a specific act requires the authorisation or involvement of a legal representative, it must be obtained.
The owner account and the people with administration functions have different powers. Deleting a group is up to its owner. Granting administration functions to another person does not transfer ownership of the group. There is currently no feature to transfer that ownership.
Depending on their role and the permissions available, administrators may create, edit, remove or restore members; manage invitations; set up tasks, points, rewards and rules; and manage other group settings. Other participants act within the permissions that apply to them.
Group administrators are responsible, in accordance with the law, for the decisions they make about the group’s membership, organisation and granting of access. When sending an invitation or assigning permissions, they must direct them to the right person and take into account the profile, history and information they will give access to. They must inform the people affected where appropriate and respect their rights. These obligations do not exclude Itzuna’s own responsibilities.
Member profiles and credentials
A member profile represents a participant within the group. It is different from the account or credential used to access it. Changing, losing or revoking a credential does not, on its own, delete the profile or its activity.
Whoever is given access to an existing profile can view the information associated with it according to their permissions, including its history and balance. If a different person joins, a new profile must be created to avoid attributing someone else’s activity to them or giving them access to data that does not concern them. Renaming a profile does not separate or anonymise its history.
Removal and restoration
Removing a member archives their profile and removes their access to the group. Their history and balance are kept, and the profile can be restored from the former members features. Removal invalidates any pending invitations for that profile.
Restoring a profile does not automatically re-establish the link with the previous account: a new invitation must be sent to link it again. The app does not currently offer permanent deletion of individual profiles as an equivalent of “Remove member”.
Archiving, leaving a group and requesting the erasure of data are different operations. Data protection rights can be exercised through the channels set out in the Privacy Policy.
Relationships within the group
The sharing out of tasks, family rules, rewards and personal agreements are a matter for the participants and, where their involvement is legally required, their legal representatives. Itzuna provides the tools and does not arbitrate these ordinary disagreements. This does not prevent it from dealing with reports of abuse, security, privacy or unlawful content.
06.6 — Tasks and completion records
Authorised people can create, assign, edit, finish or delete tasks, set dates or recurrence and configure the associated points, according to the available features.
A task can be marked as done and, if its configuration requires it, accompanied by proof in the form of a photo or text. Authorised people may view the proof and undo completion records according to the applicable permissions.
Marking a task as done does not imply independent approval by Itzuna, nor does that alone create a task status pending validation by Itzuna. Records and proof do not certify that a task has actually been carried out.
Photos and texts provided as proof are kept for a limited period of 30 days, after which a record that the task was completed with proof may remain, in accordance with the Privacy Policy. They must not be used as a permanent archive.
Assigning a task does not create an obligation towards Itzuna to carry it out. Ordinary disagreements about whether it was done will be resolved within the group, without prejudice to the rights and reporting channels that apply in cases of abuse.
06.7 — Points, streaks and gamification
Points, streaks and other gamification elements serve an organisational or playful purpose. Their criteria depend on the app’s rules and the group’s settings. Authorised people can make the adjustments that the available features allow.
The balance reflects the operations recorded in the system. Streaks and history are calculated from existing tasks and records. Permanently deleting a task or a record may change balances, streaks and historical data already displayed. Finishing a task and permanently deleting it are different actions.
These elements are not an immutable record and do not, in themselves, give rise to any financial rights against Itzuna.
06.8 — Rewards and redemptions
Groups can create rewards or privileges that are obtained by using points. Their content, conditions, availability and fulfilment are the responsibility of those who offer and manage them.
Unless a specific promotion or service expressly states otherwise, Itzuna does not provide, sell or promise the rewards created by members.
A redemption deducts the points when it is recorded, whether or not the reward has been delivered. Changing its status from “pending” to “delivered”, or back to “pending”, does not refund the points. There is currently no feature to cancel a redemption.
Recording a redemption does not guarantee that the reward will actually be fulfilled. Disagreements about group rewards must be resolved among the people involved, without prejudice to Itzuna’s obligations regarding the operation of its service.
06.9 — Nature of points
Points are internal gamification units. They are not money, electronic money, crypto-assets, deposits or a credit against Itzuna. They do not earn interest, have no guaranteed monetary value and cannot be withdrawn or exchanged with Itzuna for money.
They cannot be transferred between groups unless a feature expressly allows it. The value that participants give them within their group does not give them any economic value against Itzuna.
Itzuna may correct duplications, assignments or calculations that are manifestly incorrect and caused by technical errors.
06.10 — Content provided by users
Users can enter names, images, avatars, tasks, texts, rules, rewards and other content. They keep whatever rights they are legally entitled to over it. Using Itzuna does not transfer its ownership to the provider of the service.
By adding content, users grant a non-exclusive authorisation limited to what is necessary to provide the service: to store it, reproduce it technically, adapt it to formats and devices, show it to authorised people, transmit it through the features used and make the copies and perform the operations needed to maintain and protect Itzuna. The providers involved may carry out those operations on behalf of the service to the extent necessary.
This authorisation lasts as long as it is necessary for those purposes and for the legitimate retention of the content. It does not allow the content to be exploited for purposes unrelated to Itzuna without the corresponding additional authorisation or legal basis. The processing of personal data is also governed by the Privacy Policy; this licence does not replace its legal bases.
Anyone who provides content must have the rights, authorisations or other entitlement needed to add it and share it through the features used. They must respect the privacy, image and other rights of the people it refers to, especially minors, and avoid unnecessary personal information. When sharing a pack or downloading a copy, they must consider what information it contains, who may receive it and what use they will make of it.
06.11 — Rules of use
The service must be used lawfully and with respect for the rights of others. Participants must respect the group’s permissions and protect the information they access. Being able to view information does not, on its own, give permission to publish it or use it for another purpose.
Each participant is responsible, in accordance with the law, for their use or disclosure of the group’s information. They must not disclose personal data, images, screenshots, exports or links that give access to them without authorisation or other sufficient legal basis. This rule does not prevent anyone from exercising rights, reporting incidents or providing information to the authorities where legally appropriate.
A group’s rules do not authorise conduct contrary to the law, nor do they remove its participants’ rights. Tasks, points, rewards or proof must not be used to harass, humiliate or improperly expose other people.
06.12 — Prohibited conduct and reporting incidents
The following is not allowed:
- Adding unlawful content, impersonating others, threatening, harassing or infringing the rights of third parties.
- Accessing accounts, profiles or groups without authorisation; obtaining other people’s credentials or bypassing access controls.
- Introducing malicious code, interfering with the service or carrying out attacks, abusive load testing or automation that causes unjustified harm.
- Exploiting vulnerabilities for harmful purposes or using the service for unlawful activities.
Good-faith security research must avoid harm and unjustified access to other people’s data. Any issues found can be reported to privacidad@itzuna.com.
The same email address can be used to report allegedly unlawful content or abuse. So that we can look into it, it helps to explain what is happening, where the content or activity is located —for example, the group, task, date or an available link—, why it is considered unlawful or abusive, and how to reply to you. Do not send passwords, access codes or third-party data that are not necessary. Where the law sets specific requirements for a notice, those requirements will apply.
06.13 — Suspensions, closure, deletion and content recovery
Suspensions and restrictions
Itzuna may limit features, restrict access to content or temporarily suspend an account or a group where there is a justified reason and the measure is proportionate. These reasons include significant breaches of these Terms, fraudulent access, security risks, unlawful use, serious harm to other people, legal requirements and significant threats to the service.
The seriousness, scope and possibility of remedying the situation will be taken into account. Suspending an account does not necessarily mean suspending all of its groups. Suspending a group affects that group, without on its own blocking its members’ other groups or accounts.
A suspension is not the same as deleting data and does not stop its ordinary retention periods. Content subject to expiry may expire during it.
The person affected will be informed of the measure, its reasons, its scope and the possibility of review. Legal obligations to give reasons and notify will be met on their own terms. Outside those cases, information may only be limited or postponed for a legal or security reason that justifies it and for as long as necessary.
Where the seriousness allows, the opportunity to correct the breach will be offered. The person affected may request a review at privacidad@itzuna.com, giving the case reference, if they have one, and the reasons for disagreeing. The review will be handled by the provider or an authorised person. This channel does not limit other claims or legally applicable rights.
Lifting a suspension restores access according to the state of the service, but does not recover content that has already expired or reactivate revoked invitations. It may be necessary to sign in again or issue new invitations.
A suspension does not prevent you from requesting the erasure of data or access to the data and content you are legally entitled to. If a feature is restricted, these requests may be handled by email in a way that is compatible with security and the rights of other people.
A permanent closure will be communicated and handled separately from a temporary suspension, respecting the applicable rights.
Deleting accounts and groups
Users may stop using the service and delete their account through the available features or request it through the privacy channel. Deleting the account removes its access and its link to groups.
If the account owns groups, those groups and their data are also deleted for all of their members. The other participants’ accounts are not deleted. The app explains these consequences before the operation is confirmed.
In groups that belong to other accounts, the profile and certain activity data may be kept where there is a purpose and legal basis that justify it, in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Unlinking the account does not necessarily make that information anonymous.
Deleting a group removes its members’ access and deletes its information from the service. There is currently no undo option. The associated files are deleted through the deletion and clean-up processes; a technical incident may require retries.
Shared packs have an independent life cycle, with an ordinary retention period of one year. They do not disappear automatically when the group they came from is deleted. Copies already downloaded by other people are not removed by that deletion either. This does not exclude any erasure requests that are legally appropriate.
Export and recovery
Before an account is deleted, the app offers to download a copy. The account also gives access to the features for copying your own groups and exporting personal data. Their scope is different: exporting personal data does not entitle you to obtain all the data of other people in the group.
Downloading a copy is not required in order to request deletion. It is advisable to do so beforehand if you wish to keep information, as there is no promise to rebuild a deleted group or recover expired files. Temporary links included in an export do not replace downloading the files.
Where digital services legislation recognises the right to retrieve content created or provided by the user, Itzuna will make its retrieval possible under the legally required conditions. The limitations of self-service do not exclude that right or data protection rights.
06.14 — Itzuna’s intellectual and industrial property
Itzuna’s software, design, interface, structure, graphic elements, illustrations, original texts, trademarks, logos, characters, sounds and documentation are protected by the applicable legislation. They belong to its provider or are used with sufficient authorisation.
Users are granted a limited, personal and non-exclusive right to use the service in accordance with these Terms. Access does not transfer ownership of those elements.
Unless authorised or permitted by law, it is not allowed to commercialise the software, copy or distribute substantial parts of Itzuna, remove ownership notices or use its trademarks in a way that causes confusion. These limitations do not affect acts permitted by mandatory rules or the rights over the user’s own content.
06.15 — Availability, maintenance and evolution
Itzuna may receive updates to improve features, fix errors, maintain security, adapt compatibility or meet legal obligations.
Interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical incidents or provider failures. Reasonable measures will be taken to keep the service available, without guaranteeing absolutely uninterrupted availability unless a service level has been expressly committed to.
Changes to a digital service contracted by consumers will be made with the legally required reasons, conditions, information and guarantees. If they affect access or use, the rights to conformity, termination and other applicable rights will be respected. The evolution of the service does not allow mandatory guarantees to be reduced.
06.16 — Beta phase
Signing up to request access to a beta does not guarantee a place or a joining date. Invitations may be sent out in phases depending on capacity, platform and testing needs. Requesting access does not mean purchasing a paid service.
During a beta, pilot or testing phase there may be errors, changes to the interface or behaviour, migrations and periods of unavailability. Taking part does not guarantee that every feature will remain in the final version.
Itzuna may ask for feedback or bug reports. Avoid including unnecessary personal information about other group members in them.
In the event of an incident that may cause significant loss of information, the reasonable measures available will be taken to prevent, mitigate or recover it. Beta status does not exclude consumer rights or data protection obligations.
06.17 — Third-party services and app stores
Itzuna uses third-party services for functions such as infrastructure, authentication, storage, notifications, email and distribution. Features that depend on them may also be subject to their applicable terms, without reducing Itzuna’s own obligations.
Downloading from an app store will be subject to that platform’s terms. If, in the future, a purchase is processed through a store or payment provider, certain billing, cancellation or refund processes may be handled through it.
This does not affect consumer rights against whoever is responsible. Itzuna will not be liable for failures attributable solely to third parties beyond its reasonable control, without prejudice to the legal liability it bears for the service it offers.
06.18 — Paid services, purchases and subscriptions
Itzuna currently offers free or beta access. Plans, subscriptions or purchases may be added, and they will require specific information and contracting. Accepting these Terms does not, on its own, authorise a charge or a future automatic switch to a paid plan.
Before purchasing, you will be informed of the price, taxes, frequency, duration, included features, renewal, cancellation and any other applicable cost. No charge will be made without a valid action or consent in accordance with the purchasing procedure.
If a subscription renews automatically, this will be stated before purchase. It can be cancelled through the procedure provided or through the store that manages it. Unless otherwise stated or required by law, cancelling the renewal may keep access until the end of the paid period.
Price changes will not apply retroactively to paid periods. If they affect an existing subscription, they will be communicated with the required notice and guarantees, allowing you to cancel or exercise the applicable rights.
06.19 — Withdrawal, refunds and conformity
Consumers keep the rights granted by the applicable legislation, including those that may apply to free digital services.
In distance contracts where it applies, consumers will have the legal withdrawal period, generally 14 days, unless a valid exception applies. The terms of a paid service will include the information and means to exercise it where applicable.
Asking for a service to start during that period does not automatically remove the right. Its possible loss and any amount payable for the performance already begun will only apply when the legal requirements for the specific service or content are met.
In the event of a lack of conformity, the applicable legal rights to have it brought into conformity, to a price reduction or to termination will be respected. Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory guarantees.
Where a refund is due, it will be processed in accordance with the law. If the purchase was processed by a store or another intermediary, it may be necessary to use their mechanisms, without replacing the consumer’s rights against whoever is responsible. More favourable voluntary policies will apply in addition.
06.20 — Personal data protection
The Privacy Policy explains who processes data, for what purposes and on what legal bases, who can access it, how long it is kept and how to exercise rights. It covers the app, the website and requests to access the beta.
Accepting these Terms does not amount to consenting to all processing. Where processing requires consent, it will be requested separately where legally necessary.
Taking part in a group means that certain information is visible to its members according to the features and permissions of the service. Users must respect other people’s privacy and must not use that information for illegitimate purposes.
06.21 — Changes to the Terms
Itzuna may change these Terms for justified reasons, such as legal, security, technological, functional or business model changes, or to clarify their content.
Each version will have a reference and a date. The Terms in force can be consulted at itzuna.com/terminos/, and those corresponding to an earlier acceptance may be kept.
Formal corrections that do not significantly alter the contractual relationship will not require a new acceptance. Significant changes will be communicated clearly and with the legally required notice. Where they require a new acceptance, it will be requested before you continue using the affected features.
If the user does not accept, they will be informed of the consequences and of the options to stop using the service, obtain data or content where applicable and request the closure of their account. The legally applicable right of termination will be respected.
Publishing a version, marking it as significant or continuing to use the service does not replace an express acceptance where one is required, nor does it mean waiving mandatory rights.
06.22 — Liability, governing law, jurisdiction and contact
Liability
Itzuna will be liable for fulfilling its legal obligations. Decisions made solely by members about tasks, internal rules, point adjustments, their own rewards, personal relationships, invitation recipients or the disclosure of information are the responsibility of those who make them, within their powers and in accordance with the law. Itzuna will not assume liability for those decisions merely because it provides the service, without prejudice to any liability it may have for its own actions or omissions.
Nor will it be liable for damage arising solely from use contrary to these Terms, the negligent sharing or loss of credentials, unlawful acts of third parties that could not reasonably have been prevented, or force majeure, to the extent that the law allows that limitation.
These provisions do not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited, nor do they reduce the mandatory rights of consumers or data subjects in matters of data protection.
Governing law and jurisdiction
Spanish law applies, without prejudice to mandatory rules protecting consumers resident in other States.
Disputes with consumers will be submitted to the competent courts in accordance with the applicable legislation. No submission to courts other than those that legally correspond to them is imposed.
For relationships with people who are not acting as consumers, any specific jurisdiction agreement must be set out in the applicable commercial terms and be legally valid.
Contact
